Description:
This guide will explain how to find a specific enquiry on the Enquiry List page using different search options. We will go over each search parameter, and how the system searches for the products in both the customer’s enquiry and the quotation.
Steps to Search for a Specific Enquiry:
- Enquiry Id:
- You can search by the unique ID that is assigned to each enquiry. This helps in quickly finding a specific enquiry if you know its exact ID.
- Customer Name:
- You can enter the customer’s full name to find all enquiries made by them. This search will display a list of all enquiries associated with that customer.
- Customer Email Address:
- You can also search using the email address of the customer. This is useful if you want to find all the enquiries made by a particular customer who might have made multiple requests.
- Product Name:
- This search option allows you to look for enquiries based on the name of a product. The system will search for the product in two places:
- Original Enquiry: It will look for the product that was mentioned in the customer’s initial enquiry.
- Quotation: It will also search for the product in any quotations that were generated in response to the enquiry. If the product appears in the quote but not in the original enquiry, it will still be found.

Note:
When using the “Product Name” search, the system doesn’t just limit the search to the initial enquiry. It also checks any quotations generated after the enquiry to ensure that even if the product was only mentioned in the quote, it will be included in the search results.

Summary:
- Use Enquiry ID for precise and fast results.
- Use Customer Name or Customer Email to find all enquiries from a specific customer.
- Use Product Name to find enquiries or quotations related to a specific product, regardless of where the product was mentioned.
