The newest version of eLumine (v2.8.0) brings major changes on the Settings and User Experience front of the eLumine theme and we recommend all our users to take a full site backup before updating the theme from previous versions. You can also try updating the theme on a test environment or your staging site just to be sure.
In case the update has caused any breakages on your site, you can download the older version of the theme from your WisdmLabs My Account Page. You can then replace the new version with the old version to ensure the issue is tackled for the time-being. Following this, kindly report the issue you faced to us at [email protected] and we will make sure that we get this sorted for you.
P.S. – Make sure you take some screenshots of the issues you faced (after the update) and on which URLs of your site the issues appeared on so that you can easily report the issue to us and in-turn simplify the process of understanding the issue for us as well.
Earlier, all the eLumine settings were placed under a tab called the Theme Settings Tab on the WordPress backend. With the newest update, we have removed the Unyson plugin from the theme (the framework on which the Theme Settings Tab existed) since many of our customers were facing major issues with Unyson.
Our team has been dedicated to getting rid of this hiccup in the User Experience of the theme and hence the v2.8.0 was rolled out for eLumine with which all the Theme Settings have been moved to the WordPress Customizer of your site.

You can access the Customizer by clicking on the ‘Customize’ option on the WordPress admin toolbar on the top of your screen. Or, you can go to your WordPress backend and navigate to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Customize’ tab.

Once you are here, you will see the ‘eLumine Options’ Tab, click on it and you will see all the settings that have been moved from the previous location as mentioned above.

For your reference, here’s a detailed list and screenshots of which setting has been moved and where exactly has the setting been moved to. This will help you understand where the new settings exist and familiarize yourself with it.
