Templates parts are available to override a particular section of the templates.
To override the theme template parts:
Copy the template into your child theme keeping the same file structure.
Example: To override the navigation-buddypress.php,
copy: wp-content/themes/elumine/template-parts/navigation/navigation-buddypress.php to wp-content/themes/elumine-child/template-parts/navigation/navigation-buddypress.php
